Winnie Tomeny excels as a graphic designer, teacher, and consultant on Chinese culture. Her passion for art fuels her high-quality work. She teaches graphic design at the University of Louisiana Monroe. There, she inspires and mentors new artists. Winnie's Chinese calligraphy, painting, and graphic design have won awards. These honors come from various art groups. She received the Young Artist Award and the Chinese Calligraphy Excellence Award. She also won Gold Corporate Sponsorship at the National SkillsUSA Competition. Her brand design for the University of Louisiana Monroe Hawkeye Newspaper earned first place. Winnie is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. She moved to Savannah, GA, for her Master of Fine Arts degree. There, she met her husband, Craig. They now have three grown children. Winnie has taught graphic design at colleges for eight years. This website displays her art and her students' designs.
